The choir is open to all adults, regardless of background or experience.

No audition is required. The choir is open to everyone who wants to sing.

All choir members receive training materials, making it easy for anyone, regardless of musical background, to learn their part.

If you’re a beginner and you don’t know your voice part, our assistant Director will help you to find it during your first rehearsal.

You can join Voices International at the beginning of each season: in January for the Spring Season or in September for the Christmas Season.

The first rehearsals of the season are open to everyone and free of charge provided that you have registered on the website. Temporary printed scores will be provided to you for this first session.

The first rehearsals of the season are an opportunity to receive the printed scores, identify your voice part, and become familiar with how the choir is organized.

If you are a returning member from the previous season and are unable to attend the first rehearsal, you may still subscribe to the season provided that you have:

• registered for the new season on the website,
• paid the seasonal fee, and
• asked another choir member to collect the printed scores for you.

New members are automatically assigned “Guest” status. A committee member will validate your account and upgrade you to “Member,” giving you access to the private sections of the website.

Our regular rehearsals take place every Monday, 19:00–21:00.

During the month before concerts, we rehearse twice weekly on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

We also have 2 to 3 workshops per season. These workshops happen on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 12:30: they always end with a lunch buffet, where singers bring traditional food from their home country. Dubbed “the best lunch in Luxembourg”, these are always a wonderful occasion to connect with other singers in the choir while eating some amazing food!

The building can be tricky to find the first time, so allow extra time.

You can use the ISL parking when coming to the rehearsals.

We expect full commitment from our members.

Attend rehearsals regularly: during rehearsals, we learn to create harmony by singing together, listening to other voice parts, and receiving special guidance from our director that isn’t included in the scores or practice tracks.

Spend time practicing your part before rehearsals, so we can come together and sing in harmony with all voices. We provide scores, practice tracks, and helpful learning tools to guide you.

Be ready to sing at concerts : we generally sing from memory, which gives us freedom to express the music. For more complex songs, we use black folders in concerts to ensure the best musical quality. We do not hold formal auditions to join, but we do verify that all singers know the music before performing.

Be flexible : A small selection of songs includes light choreography, participation of the public or sign language.

Standard fee: 100 € per 6 month season

Students: 50 €

Reduced or special rates available upon request

Fees must be paid by the membership cut-off date.

Music can only be issued permanently to members who have already paid.

The fee includes access to rehearsals, training materials including printed copies of the scores, and access to practice tracks.

If you sang last season, your account should still be active. In this case, simply log in to the Members area and register for the new season.

If your account does not work, please contact us so we can reactivate your website account.

Voices International wishes to create a safe environment for all our singers. We therefore ask all our members not to come to rehearsal or wear a mask during the rehearsal, if you are sick or have symptoms, especially respiratory symptoms. The same applies when you have been tested positive for Covid on the day or the days before the rehearsal.

Some of our members are also allergic to perfumes, so please avoid to use them when coming to the rehearsal.
