In the spring of 2025 Voices International travelled to Ireland to participate in the Cork International Choral Festival as a selected participant of the Fringe event.
Cork International Choral Festival is a major event featuring international choirs performing across the city in competitions, concerts, and cultural exchanges. The Cork International Choral Festival typically takes place over several days, featuring a diverse program of competitive and non-competitive performances in venues across the city, including free public performances and workshops.
Our enthusiastic members performed a diverse repertoire over several days in front of mesmerised children in a countryside primary school, the visitors to a public library as well in the streets of Ireland’s second largest city. It was great to meet the other choirs and spend quality time together, but what made us unique? Well, it had to be the melting pot of cultures amongst chorists which truly represents Luxembourg.
