For our concert dress code, we use black as a base colour, and add an accent colour. Our intention is to look formal, classy and professional. We are a choir of individuals, but we need a cohesive appearance, hence a dress code.
Either: Black suit (jacket, shirt, trousers) with black socks and black closed shoes or boots.
Or: Black ankle-length dress or a skirt or trousers with top or blouse. Summer: short sleeves. Winter: long sleeves. Black tights or socks. Black closed shoes or boots.
VI will provide either a coloured scarf worn around the neck, or a coloured square worn in the pocket of a black jacket.
Please:
- No jeans, leggings or sneakers
- No other colours on your clothes, only black
- Discrete clothing style only
- No perfume (some members are allergic – thank you)
- Discrete jewellery and/or makeup may be worn
Please feel free to bring along your concert outfit to rehearsal or contact the Costume team or the Committee in case you are not sure. You may be asked to change clothes or alter your outfit upon arrival at the concert if you do not meet the dress code requirements.
