Here are some helpful hints on how to learn all of our music:
- Grab your music and a pencil.
- Start with the text.
- Listen to a recording.
- Analyze your music (repetition, sections)
- Find your starting pitches (find the first note of a phrase)
- Don’t just sing through the parts you already know.
- Solve the problem area.
- Work backwards to forwards.
- Audiate your part (in your head)
- Use your pencil (mark your score)
- Just practice.
